Mjolnir...Hammer of Thor

Missing image
Across the fabled rainbow bridge
Where Heimdall stands on guard
Lies Asgard, home of the norse Gods
Spoken of by an ancient bard

The ruler of this mythic land
Proud Odin of nordic fame
Mother Earth bore him two mighty sons
Thor and Loki their given name

Loki was the dark son
His evil spread far and wide
Whilst Thor the God of Thunder
Held his hammer by his side

Twas no ordinary hammer
Thor held fast within his clasp
Forged of mystic uru metal
It would forever return to his grasp

When wielded by his mighty arm
It smashed mountains clean in two
Hurled lightning bolts that rent the sky
His bidding alone would it do

Mjolnir is the hammers name
Used only by mighty Thor
What other weapon could suit the hand
Of the mighty God of War
