IN FLAGRANTE DELICTO (c) Copyright 2008 by Earl F. Hubbard Jr.
(from MUTINY ON 'THE LITTLE STAR' coming VERY SOON!)
That's how I was found,
when I heard the news,
of Julie's victory,
in nothing but me shoes.
In flagrante delicto,
as she made her speech,
in me BIG brass bed,
on me way to Sugar Beach -
to a fine reception,
and an Inaugural Ball,
for a nautical inspection,
and then on to Albert Hall.
I'd sail to Albert Hall,
where I would be King,
of the universe,
and for a golden ring -
to wear upon me finger,
as well as for a crown,
as golden as the sun,
I'd wear in London Town -
as I rode with Julie,
next to Mr. Bones,
in a white Rolls Royce,
beside Davy Jones -
that's Davy from THE MONKEES:
Michael Nesmith - Peter Tork,
as well as Micky Dolenz,
who we'd ride with in New York.
In flagrante delicto,
with me future Queen,
a lovely British rose,
who taught me how to sing -
a sweet and sacred song,
to forgive the sins of man,
and to shine a light of love,
as only lovers can -
a light to change the world,
into a better place,
brighter than the light,
that shines on Martha's face.

I'd have never thought this would be about a rock and roll music group, but i'm glad it is. Sweet memories pour out here, and it's very nice.

lol what a sight you must have been in just your shoes! I wonder if the monkeys were impressed but if they let you into their rolls royce they must have been ... either that or they wanted a good laugh lol. We'll watch out for you sailing up the Thames for the next leg of this trip.
