I know the world thinks
I'm not human
and that I can't feel
but they're wrong
I am human
and I can feel
I needed you
but you lied
and weren't there
I thought we were friends
I guess I was wrong

      I know. This was one of the first poems I wrote that I still have. I wrote it when I was in 8th grade after I started cutting. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago but at the same time, it feels like a lifetime...
