How did you come here?

Where I am is here
but I lived in other places

Lakes in forests and hills
towns with ten minute "rush-hours"
university in the big city

(ah, Love, I met you there)

then only capital cities
five countries in sixteen years
from sublime to ridiculous
with hardships in between

There is nothing to change
life teaches many things

Thank you Grateful. Autobiography: the short form.
  • Well

Sometimes the man goes where the woman does! Consider Mark Antony. Denis Thatcher.
Yet, women who marry important people go where 'he' goes.
Still, the human spirit will wander whatever.
I shall dub you little Miss Philosopher.

I have seen a lot! Thinking takes longer.
Fortunately his job pays enough for all of us; it was not so in the early days, but it has gotten better. I suppose that someday my sweetie may be important to others, he has always been important to me.
Thanks for reading Ron, and your sweet comment and applause.

Soft, yet sober, subdued, yet powerful ...

you lead the reader with contentment and with wisdom, a slow smile and a knowing heart.

Oh! How I love to trace your Sandal-ed footprints ...!

    Good Morning, my friend.

    Love
    Myra

Good morning Myra, thank you for reading! In my life I have been becoming more and more myself, finding friends like me, and helping where I can. There is no better, I think.

so profound revered Sandal. Take me as your disciple.
You do not teach, but make us see, I have not come across such a great teacher as you

      Venu, thank you

Your comment is too kind. Leading and teaching both excite the ego - I will simply write what moves me.

I most enjoyed the last line because I very much relate to it myself. I've chosen a more basic, simpler life and on a whole I have benefited through a generally satisfying life - less money, more work but less stress.

I think if I were asked the title question, I would answer something like, "My pick-up truck"

Thank you Paul, we think alike. I try to simplify and say no to trivia, but being in a social group has its unavoidable requirements. If I had employment on top of all I do, well, I could not do all that!
I like your parting observation; I came by airplane.

Thanks for your comment! Peace depends on the inner climate more than the outer one, I think! Cheers!
