I most certaintly like poems. But true, I do not like short ones, except haikus. This is a haiku. The syllables are perfect. My favorite lines are the last two:
"The water that heals us all-
After winters death "
It's a nice metephore. Good job, and I'm glad you entered, not just to win, but for fun.
