I wonder about the world these days.
The questions this barefoot poet asks himself...
Are we in a depression?
Are we in chaos from the economy?
Has our financial future tanked?
Will things ever get better for us?
Will the world be at peace?
As I sit here on my recliner...
I feel safe where I am.
I am happy to be at home.
My economic condition is not the best but I will survive.
It's a rough time in this world.
We will get through.
God is on my side.
And so are you my poet friend.

Well said! Thoughts I'm sure many have about the world today.
I like this!

sometimes you have to be flat on your back
to look up (or in your case, slitely reclined.lol).
It gets better brother

Glad you liked the poem and the picture of me!!

That recliner sure brings out the innermost thoughts
Perhaps we should provide all the worlds leaders with one and hope that they can come up with solutions to all that is wrong with the world.
Ten minute with you i think would set them to thinking
I enjoyed reading this despite the pain within the writing
Well done

I guess there are always times of uncertainty one way or another...these are just the current ones !!!
But no doubt we all ponder these thoughts from time to time

-
Thoughts that cross the mind of all at one time or another, funny sometimes how the mind slips away on such journeys into worlds we normally may ignore.

Let;s hope things get better. I appreciate the words my friend!

You are right
This only happens every 80 years. I won't worry about next time.

-
May he bless you ...
and keep you ... while the rest of us poets do the best that we can in this old "bawl game" of politicing and recessionistic plans that are unfolding. j
