My Thirst

Come into my heart
let us take a walk
look at my landscape
sail into my dreams
a lovely boat
row across the sea
let me escape

to you

I am the wild side
of nature
fresh paint

to fill my world

my soul is yours

to create paint me

on a sea of love  

for my heart

it waits thirsty

come to me

so shall my thirst

be quenched

    Wow, that is pure delight! I've always had a hard time making a connection between photo prompts and writing the actual poems, so I'm amazed that your poem matches my exact perception of this picture! Your words are so rich and I love the metaphors and personification; I think personification is my favorite literary element, so this made me happy.
