Autumn's moon

As it shines, illuminating the room,
I see its grace and adore its beauty.
Wonder assends into me when I stare at its glorious grace.
The moon smiles upon me in the calm, cool air
Looking up I see its wonderful flair,
Oh how I wish to dance tonight!
Nothing soothes me more than this,
To be out here in autumn's still night
To see the moon and her friends.

Blowing breezes hug me tight
While a little kitten stands in fright.
I know not why she's scared ever so,
Maybe its me, but I don't care.
Standing on my bare feet on the dewy grass
I'm in another world.
My mind is gone, it's elsewhere tonight,
It could be freaked, but I don't mind.
As for me, I'm here right now
Looking and amazed at the shining face that's up in space.
