Dust Off Your Converse!

I know this is a topic
everyone tries to keep microscopic,
but it's seriously happening,
and poeple need to stop pretending.

It is our fault,
and it needs to come to a halt.
Global warming is near
and soon the Earth will disappear.

We need to preserve the environment,
this is not something we can totally prevent,
but we can try to escape
this very possible fate.

There are animals dying,
and a lot of people are trying
to save them, but they need our aid
to help repair the problem we all have made.

I'm not ready to say my good-byes,
so come on, guys!
Dust off your converse,
it's time to save the universe!

=/ idk. I have always been consered (sp?) with the environment, just not so sure how the poem came out. but i tried.

    I agree with you 100% but it's so easy to give up or ignore what's happening. We have all created the situation so maybe we could rectify it if we all worked together.
