Dull Schemer

Gaze out big window
sun’s warm vibrant glow
thoughts of great day grow
clouds outside billow
day so bright mellows

Hour and a half
it meanders fast
put on gloves and hat
time arrives at last
blizzard not a chance

Despising dull work
many stupid jerks
cheap salary hurts
what is even worse
no end to the curse

Making nothing right
no new job in sight
and no change tonight
bored outlook on life
coming at sunlight

Depressing dreamer
terrible schemer
this dumb old thinker
needs mother nature
to bring that blizzard
