Point the barrel at my head
pull the trigger end "my" life.
Put the blade onto my throat
slit it with the sharpest knife.
If it is acceptance
that I have to gain from you.
This life wouldn't be my own
for then I'd be untrue.
Call me selfish if you will
and hate me if you must.
Think your unconditional
though you are feeling lust.
Love is mere illusion
when you are a human being.
When you want to say I'm wrong
my point you will be seeing.
We are self fullfilling
even with minor reward.
Life is just a game we play
because we are so bored.
Everyone will laugh at this
for they are in denial.
Throwing me out in the cold
'cause I don't like their style.
It's a shame you can't appreciate
a guy like me.
I am standing up so tall
and now my soul is free.
I guess they will hate me
just because I don't fit in.
I'll put end to misery
and new life shall begin.

It's no secret, that the culture you're in makes you who you are. Whether it be religion, lifestyle, or personality, all are formed by culture. The thing that makes us individual and unique is our ability to stretch cultural truths and to challenge cultural folkway. I know this poem may perhaps be a bit confusing so allow me to make my position clear.
I believe in my individuality and I'll be me or die trying. I believe that we as human kind are incapable of unconditional love. I believe that mating insects feel love more unconditionally than we do. I believe that there will be lots of people that will challenge this point pretending that they're selfless. I believe that over the next few months, many will grow to hate me because of their inablility to accept my lifestyle.
It's a very controvertial piece and I'd love to get your take on it. I am very centered in my beliefs, so I'm not insecure when they are challenged. If you cannot appreciate the things I do when I'm alive, then you can love my dead still corpse. Many in their lifetime will have something in common with my dead body. They won't stand up for anything and they'll decay over time.

Obviously much of these thoughts were still banging in your head when we talked today... you know what my advice is, and whether you take it or not is strictly up to you. Truth be told I hope you do. I can't say anything about how I feel towards this "love" because like I said before I believe everyone in some way or another is selfish, and I don't believe in "love" At the same time I do... I think there are different forms of it.. some of us meant for the extraoridinary form where they just totally get it... and some *like me* that get a mere fraction of it, and basically have to settle with it. I dont know, but I'm rambling so I shall stop. It's a good write... maybe should add some of those author notes into it, so its not so confusing.

Yes, like the extensive discussed last evening with you. The unconditional is unattainable. Yeah, you can find a partnership with someone. You just have to be upfront about things.
