Do you remember when . . .
Oh, that seems so long ago.
We had such fun back then.
Do you recall when we saw. . .
We laughed so hard and so long.
Wasn't that the funniest of all?
Do you recall what we did when. . .
We were so scared we'd get caught.
My, we were so naive then.
Do you remember the time . . .
You didn't know what to say.
You just put your hand in mine.
Do you remember the times we shared . . .
I still trust you as much as I did then,
For I remember how much you cared.
Do you remember when we swore . . .
Best of friends we'd always be.
And best of friends we are forever more.

to write with these feelings show how great a friend you are and how much you value friendship.the format of this is great.it's such a reflective piece.this is great for reminding people of the value of friendship.

Wondrous! This touched me in many ways, and at many levels. I so had this true friend, knowing our friendship would outlast our lives. Still, something stole this away from us. Sure, we have tried hanging on. I know I have with every thing I have to give, its just that sometimes its not meant to last but a season...or two.
I adore this more than I could ever explain.

sweet. the use of elipsis works out fairly well for the first lines, with a bit of allusive elusive information in the following two lines to help the reader fill in the gaps.

This is such a touching and beautiful piece. It speaks of a friendship that was made strong through many childhood experiences and still remains strong because of them. Beautifully written, I might add. Thanks for your comments on "High Cliffs To Soul Canyons." -
There is nothing more precious than memories of friendships that influenced us for life. Each of the stanzas written here embrace those times. This is light and airy, and makes me smile. This wondrous write leaves me with a sincere warmth in my heart. A very pleasent poem that allows me to remember!

THIS is magnificant. Isn't it horrible the way life often tears these types of bonds from us. Only a very few have the sense enough to hold on to them. This is so touching. If only life were this innocent for those who want it that way...

This is a sweet, nostalgic look at the 'history' of two best friends! I found it to be very well-written and engaging.
I like the way it speaks of memories in short hand, the way two very close friends would-- knowing what the other was talking about, without even having to repeat the whole memory. I can envision you saying that and the both of you dissolving into gales of laughter, or choked up with tears.
Lovely.

Those lines hit me the hardest. I really enjoyed this poem. It made me think of all my best friends (past and present) and those whom I love. It was very good poem, beautifully written. This piece filled me with some happiness as I remembered all those memories of fun and joyous times that I've had with the ones I love. It was just such a touching and beautiful piece. Very deserving of being in the 'featured box'. I'm looking forward to reading a lot more of your work. Keep that pen to paper. -

Oh, that's great. It's always wonderful to look back on all of your memories with your friends that you've remained close with. I know that these memories must be so much better after more time has passed. I drifted away from my best friend over the last year...so I only wish that I could have that last part be true. But I look back at all the memories we had, and can never forget the fun that her and I went through together. Great write...this could touch almost anybody.

This is a wonderful poem that lightens the heart and makes us thank our valued friendships. It is a wonderful poem with delight shared in memories and fun times and happiness which is a characteristic of a great relationship. I really enjoyed it's simplicity because sometimes, we get caught up in a complex feeling and aren't able to react towards it, so things become jumbled... but with a topic like this, you can't wrong! This is really sweet & touching, it reminds me of my best friend --- she's in heaven, and I miss & love her each & everyday. In this piece, I felt like she was giving em a sign that she's okay, and that there is still hope for me to carry on another day. this made me think of you know when you're like 'do you remember when we!' then you're laughing too much to finish the sentence, typically i'd say this wouldnt work in literature but you wrote it so it must do....
You better watch out because you gave permission for it to be passed on so if someone decides to pass it onto their dear friend mr publisher, you're screwed

This was a great poem, especially about friendship. I have many friends who are always there for me when I need someone there. And you did a great job looking back on those memories. I'm always looking back at memories I had with friends.
