The adult was the one who started
With a joke that included a person who farted
Which started the kids laughing before the punch line.
Then they all took their turn on stage
From oldest to the youngest of age
Telling jokes about farts, poops and pots.
The children laughed and giggled loudly
As each had a turn at being a star proudly
Simply telling their jokes and being silly tots.
When the three year old's turn came
He did not pause to think but merely exclaimed
'Peepy, Poopoo, Potty!'
And got the biggest laugh of all.

This is far, far, lighter than anything I've ever done before. But it was an actual event that happened while camping with my 3 neices and 3 nephews ages 3 to 9.
I'm the guilty adult who started it all.

I hear fart jokes and such every day...lol...I have four children ranging from age 10 down to age 2 and they think it is the most hilarious thing in the world. I can totally understand your poem. A great write and best of wishes.. ~genielassie~

Potty humor is guaranteed to get a laugh... and timing is very important to jokes. Obviously that kid grasped that concept and didn't let go... perhaps a future comic? This was a nice lighthearted funny read.
