Death to Life

Death to Life

A seed falls to the ground
Dying to itself beneath its mound
Giving new life
To a flower
To fruit

Blankets of cold snow
Cover the dead earth below
Giving rise
To spring
To new life

A sinless man is crucified
Breathing forgiveness, He dies
Giving to us
Pardon from sin
A new life in Him

A sinful man offers his self
Dying to himself
Giving rise
To righteous reign
To new abundant life

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. Whosoever believeth in his shall not die but have everlasting life. John 3:16. We all must die to be reborn. Your message comes through loud and clear.

I like your style. Keep at it. "Dying to itself" is a good turn of a phrase.
