In your world of magical cartoons,
Flying swirling mystery goons,
And silly, crazy, rhyming tunes...
At circuses with helium filled balloons,
With imaginary treasured doubloons,
With elephants, tigers and baboons...
When sliding down golden sand dunes,
When hiking through swamps and lagoons,
When waiting for butterflies to emerge from cocoons...
Or when all alone in your room
While clouds cover the light of the moon
And pleasant memories fade too soon...
Remember this my little dove:
You were created from above
Just for me always and forever to love.
Author notes
In all their imaginations, memories and experiences let children be secure in this one thought "I am loved."

This is absolutely wonderful melphleg. The ending is so perfect. What a pleasant last thought to place into the mind of a child as they drift off to sleep. Thank you for sharing this and good luck in your contest.
