Little Miss Sue
And you know who
Loved the sweet
Dark sensation.

Could not resist,
Would not desist,
That pure coco
Sugar fascination.

Tooth decay?
Oh, no way
She would say
With hesitation.

Fattening me?
No, thin as can be
Headaches?
No, consternation.

No worries, no fear
Of that she held dear,
Chocolate,
Sweet elation.

Yes, Sue and I
Will sooner die
Of the greatest delight
In all creation.

    Got to agree with MariGoes it is important to have a fair bit of sweetness in life after all it is no use having a long bitter one

    Saw the title of this poem and had to come and read it!
    I so much like chocolates, and nah, they don't make your life shorter, but sweeter.
    Very tasty poem, I enjoyed it!

    HA! Chocolate is the best food for you. All the vitamins...minerals...um...stuff?! hehe. There should be a category on the food pyramid just for chocolate. Under it would read, dark, milk, nougat. I loved this and it should be my anthem. Great write. Thanks for commenting on my poem ~Nyssa

    Ah, a poem after my own heart, that treat among treats, and a treat to read! Very well done indeed! ( now they find a little dark chocolate is good for you) See, God knows what he's doing ! So a chocolate kiss a day keeps the doctor away, oh, and the apple too, just for insurance..health insurance Great poem about great stuff! Thank you so much for the kind comment. Diane

    are u saying it shortens our lives! o no! Im gunna die like tomorow! lol this is quite ammusing. but i want to belike them and not have ne of the problems that chocolate causes.
