Why would I value paper gold?
Why are points of worth to me?
Is glamour or reward things to behold?
Why would I value paper gold?
Do honors add to my life a hundredfold?
Will your words of praise make me holy?
Why would I value paper gold?
Why are points of value to me?

Interesting for you chose here for this poem about why you don't want to win gold in the contest. Easy to read and understand.

looks like a triolet to me; but I'm not positive. A very good write for a ghastly contest.
