Audrey Hepburn Doe eyes, lovely smile
Elegant were you in style each day
Oh fair lady you heart taker
Wherever have you gone, why'd you go away?
Lovely lady off to help the world
There's such a lot of world to heal
We all hope for a rainbow's end
Looking for the end our loverly friend
Audrey Hepburn and we
Fair Lady brighter than a smile
Possessin' grace and style, ever'day
Moviemaker you heart taker
Forever you're lastin', in our hearts each day
Fair Lady yearn'n' to heal the world
There's such a lot of world to heal
We desire the same hopeful end
Perhaps round the bend, our beautiful friend
Fair Audrey and we.
Elegant were you in style each day
Oh fair lady you heart taker
Wherever have you gone, why'd you go away?
Lovely lady off to help the world
There's such a lot of world to heal
We all hope for a rainbow's end
Looking for the end our loverly friend
Audrey Hepburn and we
Fair Lady brighter than a smile
Possessin' grace and style, ever'day
Moviemaker you heart taker
Forever you're lastin', in our hearts each day
Fair Lady yearn'n' to heal the world
There's such a lot of world to heal
We desire the same hopeful end
Perhaps round the bend, our beautiful friend
Fair Audrey and we.

I look up to Audrey not only for her wonderful movies but for her character and the fact the she devoted the final years of her life to helping children through UNICEF.

Glad to know we have something else in common. Audrey was an incredible woman. I admire her character and her elegant spirit. Thanks for reading.

I adored Audrey and especially 'Breakfast At Tiffanys'She was beautiful and full of spirit...

I watched a documentary about Audrey about a week ago. They said that they wanted to drop that song out of the movie and Audrey said she'd first die before she allowed that to happen.
I wanted to learn to play after I saw this scene. I even purchased a guitar.

I love Audrey Hepburn...did a speech on her in speech class and in the process of learning about her life was amazed at just the sheer beauty of who she was as a person....let alone her obvious beauty and grace on screen. This was a lovely tribute to her and you did an excellent job weaving in the song! I really enjoyed this! I just watched Breakfast at Tiffany's again recently and can hear her as she sings while I read this! Great job!

I agree. I hope many people wanted to grow up to be like her and did. She was a remarkable lady full of grace and love who gave selflessly to others.

You know, to me Audrey Hepburn was the ultimate "Lady". I can remember when I was young wanting to grow up to be just like her.

This was great, and such a wonderful idol. I admit I didn't know much about Audrey except Breakfast at Tiffany's. You did such a great job in all three of your poems in showing what a wonderful person she was. Sometimes we love people for who they are to us, but sometimes we admire them without ever knwoing them. That is a true idol; they somehow get you to idolize them without ever knowing you. Thank you for all three of your entries. They were all unique, all special in their own way. Good Luck!
