but all i could do is rant
such a heartache indeed
that you're not here

it's lonely here without you
it's not enough that you keep in touch
'cause i never thought i'd miss you this much!
you're the only one my heart longs for
i miss you
need i say more?

you're there, i'm here
one thing's for sure...it's a torture to endure
can you feel it?
tried to do things to beat the blues
but what's the point? what's the use...
my heart just wasn't in it
i just want you here

nothing can comfort my lost soul
and no one else but you
can't do things i must do
without you, i'm out of control
'cause i miss you! need i say more?

    The poem is lovely and doesn't need to be revised although I think a floral patterned background would be more interesting than the plain color backgrounds and one with pretty pink flowers would go perfectly with the picture and the poem.I personally find it more fun to read a poem when there's as many kinds of art wrapped into it as possible...such as music to go with it,a background that's a visual feast for the eyes,pictures or artwork,and the poetry itself!You've already got two out of four!Now just the music and bakground is left and then I think it would be perfect!

    I have definitely been there and done that, girl...this is some intense, raw emotion that is portrayed here with incredible talent...I'm glad you wrote this...It reminds me of a lot of things...Thanks

    I really liked this... reminds me of how I felt when my ex fiance left me here alone in Manitoba to go back to his family and life in Mississippi... nothing seemed right without him here, and I was so lonely. Everywhere I went and everythign I did reminded me of him, and that just made being alone even harder.

    a really nice piece Anna ... u have projected ur sense of longing and passion very well into these words. The picture implied a sexual longing and perhaps one or two well placed words in the poem would have amplified that aspect. Yes i like it very much

    this is astoundingly beautiful. Very very well worded and touching. I love the picture, it is, in a way, rather provocative, but calm and sensual at the same time.
