Time may bring a choice to you
to love or live alone ~
I have scattered hopeful seeds
and reap what I have sown.
You might get the feeling
that you can no longer wait ~
pick up the flower seeds
and then, learn to cultivate.
Life can be all sun or shade;
take care to flee the Storm ~
when, someday, Love comes your way,
your Faith will keep you warm...

"...every step is a
different point of view,
is the rising, my shadow bends,
leaving behind
only the sound of
yesterday's footprint."
Sighhh...Such exquisite words you whisper from this distance, Rich...Thank you, my Friend...

The symetry of my mountain
is always changing
as every step is a
different point of view,
is the rising, my shadow bends,
leaving behind
only the sound of
yesteday's footprint. -
Thanks, Bel-...I'm glad you enjoyed it...Thanks for hosting a great contest...Be well, Poet...

Very nice
I like this better than the other poem you entered, it is very beautiful and has some structure and rhyme, it seems very well rounded and refined. I like the topic and style, but I think you might want to look over the second to last line, it seems a little obtrusive. Thank you for entering

Glad that you're glad, my Friend!!! I didn't think it was sad, until I re~read it...it is rather wistful, at that...perhaps, because I lost my Love before Christmas last year...I love Love & loving things...& no longer have them in my Life...but I will again...someday, I Hope...be well, NTB...& always, have Faith...I always say, God favours His Poets...why else would He give us such wondrous Gifts??? & I do not believe He would give us these, large aching Hearts if we were only meant to be alone...so...I Hope...TTYL!!!

This is sweet, and I think you're right. The rhymes are good.
Sorry for the short comment, it's my mood.

I love how everything stems from the seeds, excellent, scattered hopeful seeds, learn to cultivate, and flee from a storm, but keep the faith! Beautifully done and looks like a winner, my dear friend, Ann

Warmth...
A poem fringed with hope and wonderful feelings of peace...love comes to those who wait. I read something about "lovers don't finally meet; they're in each other all along" - somehow your poem reminded me of that. Yes, we scatter our seeds, our choices and just like in nature...there is a season for everything! Keep the faith, dear friend - and be warm - thank you for this warm "fuzzy"!

Excellently done, and a true,
true message to boot - too many
are too willing to settle, rather
than check the list - twice - and
wait for the One..........
