~ Lesson I Can Never Learn

Flooding river of my insatiable feelings

If only you could see me through kinder eyes

I am a heart who was wounded from birth

My only wish is that you will one day realize

I tried my best to be someone you would love

I have suffered silence and wasted so many tears

I have been a rose in the wind all my life

Always controlled by my very own endless fears

Sorry my love for not recognizing your worth

But maybe we were never really meant to be

Love is a lesson that I can never learn

Deserted by my own self for the eternity..

"I have suffered silence and wasted so many tears" that line is so well put. this is, another, beautifully worded poem. another pure poem, like the high tone of a bell. pure and wonderful. i really do enjoy the pattern of nature elements in all your poems. it makes them even better to read!

It is sad when you realize that no matter how much affection you shower on a person, you can never make them love you back (even if you wanted to). There is a person in my life like that... we are friends, but I am needing to transcend that level, and I guess he is still recuperating from the scars that have been dealt him. At times, this fact makes me so saddened because I am trying to reach out to him, yet he won't meet me halfway. (sigh) It's just one of those things when the other person (in this case, me) has to suck it up and keep going.

I love this poem. There is some fabulous imagery here...not to mention the autumn leaf background works pretty well too

    Many blessings,

    Remarkable

I am speechless.. This poem is so beautiful... There isn't any words that can describe the beauty of this poem.. None that I can explain without repeating myself... Just to sum it up... This was remarkable...

    Amazing Poetry!

You know your poetry has blossomed since you first had started, I always enjoyed it, but I must say, today you pen better than yesterdays!

I love your heart within your art, the vivid imagery, your style that forever flows like a waterfall of faith, love, and inspiration! You truly make me smile!

Thanks for sharing you, and being the best person you know how to be, and chosing the pathway of light, as I see your candle burn so bright!

Much love I send to you across the seas of sweet poetry!
Your forever friend, Timothy The Poetic Weaver~

Simply wow... This is very eloquently written... a bit sad though...
Reading your comments regarding KFC, it reminds me of other day while driving home from work, I noticed a new take-away called QFC... I carefully read beneath in small letters, it read "Queen's Fried Chicken" lol.... as for the poem, I liked it very much... keep on writing...

AH! deserted ! by LOVE! they say "jo mil jaey woh Ishq he kiya"(Not deserted in love, A love? it can not be) rhyming was excellent and with that ol' "Sad-Punch" drink with "tears-fries" and a "hope free-Chicken burger" with a pinch of "Love-chips" It was one hell of a meal to slake a daily poetry hunger ! bravoooo!

sniff Sissy you are always such a wonderful friend to me. Even though I may not be the love you write so eloquently about, you know that you are a most treasured friend.

One day your love will take you out of the wind and place you in a warm, sheltered place. Out of the wind that has you so tossed.
