Welcome to my page, old friends, new friends, and future employers! My name is Shay and I'm a student and aspiring journalist/novelist, but currently most of my writing outside of school consists of a lot of poetry and some fictional short stories. This account contains an archive of virtually every poem I've written over the past 3 years; I think there are around 500 now. The ones that are pinned to this page (below) are some of my personal favorites. Please take a look, comment if you have an account, and I hope you like what you see, although I always welcome constructive criticism. (Please note before reading that many of my poems contain obscenity, violence, erotica, and/or references to illegal drugs and smoking, and may cause strong emotional reactions; also, I shouldn't have to say, "incorrect" use of grammar and punctuation, but I've gotten several comments on it. Please also remember that as a poet I am very open about my emotions, and many of my poems are based on events and people in my personal life.) Thanks!

And I totally agree with you on- "you know what bothers me? people ripping on me for having "bad punctuation" or "lack of punctuation" in my poetry. its POETIC LICENSE PEOPLE!!!! artistic expression? any of this sounding familiar? or did you miss that lesson? well let me fill you in.
