There comes a time in your life, where you dont FEEL like being anywhere, like you just dont want to be here. On days that I feel like this I go to the church playground. During the week its the best place to go, no one is ever at church during the week... Why? I mean why do we only celebrate god on weekends, why not everyday?

Anyways... I go to the playground after school I just just sit there, swinging on the swings. closing my eyes. It almost feels like im flying. The wind is blowing through my hair and i just BREATH. I forget all the crap that I had went through that day and I remember, that, I AM NOT ALONE.

When someone comes up to you at school or work and asks you if you are okay? and you say yes.... are you lying. Are you really okay. Most of the time I tell people that I am ok even when im not. High school has been rough. I let people walk all over me, I try not to mirror their actions, I try not to be the bully. Because if i was a bully i would just be reaching down to their level. People in high school spread rumors, lies about you. Some days you just have to get out of there.

One day that happened to me (it happens to everyone). Now I am a senior at the time and i was allowed to leave campus for most of the classes that i was taken... so it was 3rd block.... ENGLISH 4. She sat in the seat next to me. The lunch bell rang. 30 mins later we were all heading back to English, but I had to stop off in my journalism class cause i was leaving early that day. I showed up to my english class 10 mins late and gave the teacher the note... Thats when I saw it... Her friend was sitting in my seat. She told me to sit somewhere else, so i did at the time. When the teacher was done talking i got up. I told her friend, "Please get out of my seat, i need it to work in partners." The girls friend rolled her eyes at me, "Im working in partners with "her" (the girl who sits next to me) "This is My seat." I said... "I was sitting here first. The girl that normally sits next to me butts in. "Dont start this freshman crap again Emily, go sit over there." I walked away and sat somewhere else.

The next day the girl who sits next to me spoke to me, "What is your malfunction?" I mean who says that to someone? Why wont this girl just leave me alone. I ignore her. And then she says it again, "What is your malfuntion Emily, dont ignore me." I turn my head, "YOU." I dont speak to her for the rest of class.

I read a verse in the bible to help me out with this.... The verse was talking about being nice to those who are not nice to you. If your nice to those who push you around then maybe they will be so shocked that they will back off. If your nice to them and dont get mean back at them, they dont get what they want.
