my vision scattering these tears softly, (and how, oh how? so kind),

It thunderstormed tonight. I left the work building, and it started pouring on me.
-
awakening, cold mist clings to my mane
-
With eyes as blue as rain,
the light happens to seep on through
-

-
In the quiet of this moment I feel your cool breath on my face
-
rain caressing my consciousness, fluttering little birds against my overworked retinas,

Each one happened for different unknowns reasons why.
