You don't need to knopw about the time periods, you just need to find a picture from one of those time periods and write a poem about it.

    Heya,
I'd love to be your AP sister. Never had a sister, think it would be rather nice.

Yeah, I know I haven't been on here much. I had three weeks of hell (otherwise known as finals and end of term tests) at school, and then I was out of the country for three, so it's been a while.

    Holler back!

Tks Emily for reading in my poem, "Endings and New Beginnings"; Haikus have become one of my favorite things to write. Walt.
  • PoeticEmily on January 13, 2006
thank you, my poems do evoke a sense of hopelessness and grief, strife, etc... However, most of my poems are NOT taken from real life, they are merely poems. example -- i don't have an addiction to drugs (i'm not lost) i haven't lost my father (welcome home, dad), and we didn't have picnics like the poem (utopia)... I think some of these are "just poems" and if I make them appear as if they were real -- I think that's the point, right? take care, --E
  • wadester on January 12, 2006
you have a very awsome talent for writing poetry. Now you can take the gift that god has given you and help others by doing so. P.S. I hope that you win. God Bless
  • rannilt on January 4, 2006
dude, wow! Nope, not sure at all anymore. (pats face and head and chest to make sure rannilt's still all there...)

Reading your author-page is like reading my own. Please don't say you play piano and love jazz or I'll be convinced I've run away from myself. That shall confuse me utterly, for I'm not sure I could find me if I ran away from myself.

Hope you decide to enter my contest.
