Thank you for reading all my poems and commenting on EVERY SINGLE ONE!
On one, you wrote that you would never let your mom read your poems, and I have to tell you that I feel blessed that both my daughters feel it is okay for me to see their innermost thoughts through their poetry. Many times I have had to confront one of them to see if the poem was about them or not or to make sure they were okay, but mostly I just enjoy the poetry! I also read many of their friend's poetry, but don't comment too much because I don't want to embarrass them. I will read yours soon, if you would like. Thanks again for the comments!.

Her Daddy had a heart like a nine pound hammer.
Think he even did a little time in the slammer.

She snuck out one night an' met me by the front gate,
Her Daddy came out a-wavin' that twelve guage
We tore out the drive, he peppered my tailgate.

Oh, I knew there'd be hell to pay.
But that crossed my mind a little too late.
