Stopping in to say hello! Been busy, busy, moving, my daughter graduating, had surgery (a lump that was just scar tissue in subcutaneous area - YAY!), finally settling in and getting back to AP a bit. I hope all is going well with your "project" and you aren't going too crazy with all the work you have to do.

Hii!! I hope you are well! I change my name about once a month when I'm feeling really poetic and I have an idea I really like. Like ColorsofWineandWar; Rubix Dreams, TheEarthWentNumb, etc...etc...I like changing my name, it adds variation and color.

So I'm sorry for not commenting your poetry and talking to you much lately. I just thought I'd appologize; because I been consciously thinking that you're frustrated with me. I've been really stressed with school. Most of my log-in time has been writing poetry; I've engaged in very little conversation and stuff.

So anyways, yeah. I just thought I would leave you a comment too, because you are cool. I'm really glad I know you as a poet. There aren't a lot of poets who can use basic rhyme and stuff and actually be good at poetry.

Someone once told me it was, but a professional opinion would be so much more substantial!

Thank you so much for asking about Jenn. It will make her very happy to know that people are thinking about her. Jenn and I used to be neighbors. Now I live about seven miles away, but we are still close.

She just had another surgery. They had to removed something called a fistula, and now they say she has Crohn's Disiese. (not sure I spelled that right). This is just the latest in a long string of medical problems she has been forced to deal with.

She really enjoyed writing, and spent a lot of time at Allpoetry when she could. Now she is on so much pain medication as a result of a gastiric bypass surgery that she can not concentrate well enough to write anymore.

She has her good days and when she does, she plays all day with her children. Then there have been days I was sure we were going to lose her, but thanks to the power of prayer and her incredible will to live, she has hung in there. Thanks again for asking about her. It touched me that you cared enough, and it will touch her too.

By the way, the picture of you and your son is wonderful! He is a beatiful boy.

Funpum. Babs Dee writing from Australia. I sent a message to you on my message page. Not sure if it worked. I showed my true colours tonight & uploaded a cat poem. I used to write a cat story column- for free- for my local vet before th practice changed hands. I love using cats to make stories/poems up. Right now my kitten is warming my knee as I write.
How's the comp entries going? Not sure whether a new inspiration coming at present to do something new. regards. B.D.

Dear Funpun, I am the Spiderlicious one- writer of the not-really finished poem-"The Spider". Thanks for your critique, I realise my spare-time poetry activity often needs refining. I am really a musician & techer, but compose & write many poems whether porfessionally needed in some situations or just for emotional satisfaction. I am not a full-time poet. I admire your track record. You have a polished way with words. I like childrens poetry writing or a simplistic approach- a nice contrast to life in today's often hard world. Babs Dee.

can i comment on two at the same time..... ok pirates lament..just so good.....pulling up the blinds...i think we both had the same sex education teacher....but keep on with the practice and you will soon get the hang of this sex thing, with regards to the pirate thing...its a dying art ...let it go.
