I just stopped by today
Hope you are having a wonderful day
That's festive and really gay
Because I would have it no other way

Champagne at midnight...bootie call,
watch out for St. Nick, he ain't that tall
Drink moderately so you don't fall
And if you're quesy--lean against the wall

What started out as a little note
Became a poem the size of a boat
My head is medically afloat
My dog has now turned into a goat

Thank you Mia, i appreciate your comments and just want to say that after reading your poem a unicorn stands alone, a sprinkle of tear came out of my eye. remembering far back as i could, really can't say i've heard enough to rise the bar of my self-esteem. i am humble and afraid of spoken...lack thanks to comments made for me. i appreciate all dearly but never was taught life's charisma to happiness. i within time am prospecting my joy and recieving patiently in small portions. i'm knew to this link but already feel positive. this poem was overlooked by many and awarded by publicity. i'm devoted to pen and paper, they are my heart,mind and soul. look forward to adding more of my work as well to read of yours. 1:30 am nightime and already fee rested just knowing your poem put a smile on my face. tonight my darkened dreams will shine guiding me to morning praise. thank you again and good night.

I just read your comment on one of my poems! Thanks! It really helps to hear what others think! I read what you have written about yourself, and it touches my heart! I have a wonderful mother and while I was growing up I watched her time and time again be treated badly by men. I love my mom so much!!! She is my hero! I hope that your children feel the same!

I like ur poem about the unicorn, it really paints a mental image. it also shows that out of beauty can draw sadness. that they can intwine and make something even more beautiful. like a rose that has a bleading thorn. anyway, well written poem. i applaud you.
