YOU NEED TO WRITE MORE POEMS.
  • Kill My Insides on September 21
Hi. Just wanted to tell you that I entered MuddyKing's contest dedicated to you. Now I know I didn't do you justice, so I hope you can forgive me. I've had you on my favourites for just about the whole 4 or so years I've belonged to allpoetry, but haven't spent enough time here and especially not reading your poetry. Today I saw a small piece of what I've been missing and since I've been spending more time here again, have decided I must keep up with your writings and catch up on some of what I've missed. Thank you for inspiring me. Oh, and if you have the time and maybe are interested, I would like your opinion on a couple of my more recent poems.
Thanks again! Your talent is truely something to strive for.

Yaay, I love the Tudors! (Not the show; I haven't had the opportunity to see it... but that's what Youtube is for. Is it any good?) I probably should know more about them, as I'm a Boleyn and my great-something-grandfather was involved in Essex's rebellion, but I'm sick of family research ^^

I am honoured you liked my poem and that I remind you of Jane Grey, hehe

And Mandarin is so enchanting. Is it your native language?
  • Nicolisis : Hello.....Remember Me? on July 10
    Hi Hunny

I just thought I would drop by your page and say Hello - I've not been on here in ages (years!)but I was feeling nostalgic and started reading through some of my poetry. I remembered how much I admired your work. Did you ever get a publisher to look at your "Snow Mysteries"? I always thought they were amazing and deserved to be seen in print.

    Anyhoo! Big Hugz

  • Just Rob : Remembering on March 4
    February was gray

    poems fled to warmer shores

    while art sought solace

on the broad shoulders of distant

    weeping

my arms were to short for hugs, my

    voice too dim

    while I huddled
    in slush

    and the

    sun, that nosey bitch

    mocked

You know in those moments of blackness?
Some reason I think of you..

I know you know the taste of anger..

And it helps.. I miss you beautiful..

  • ilovemygrape on November 25, 2007
Good day madam. It's been two years... Miss me?
  • Axelle Black on November 13, 2007
    Hey love!

I'm new competition now in Nicole's contest... watch out! Or probably not. But she was begging me to enter something (begging the others probably too) so she could have at least three entrants to give out the three places. So I'm assured to get a trophy anyway. Like bronze and 1000 points. Woohoo!

I have been informed of the loss of your grandmother and wish to offer my condolences. There is little that I can say of any real comfort and so I choose instead, to leave soft words of one who wishes you know you're thought of:

It was said that it had been the ravens first,
beady black eyes small in respectful silence

Clouds went thin to appellate elsewhere
    leaving a Picasso sky

Leaves lolled wide as tongues in the summer,
    lending green to the occasion

Even the moles stopped their tunnels dug
    into a light of tomorrow

    Tiny consolations in the beautiful sorrow of quiet;

    an elbowed moment of rest.

  • Melissa Gayle on September 17, 2007
I am so sorry for you loss, I know that words are futile but know that you and yours are in my thoughts.
  • vaseline on September 17, 2007
im sorry for your loss ma'am. know that she's still out there smiling and knows how missed she will be.
  • poetryality : Dearest Sister/Friend, on September 14, 2007
Please know that in times like these friends are just where they need to be in your life. Beside you. I am here if you need me. You and your family have my sympathies at the loss of your grandmother, and all my love is being set through this message. May you be comforted to know that she is shining in her matriarchal glory as we speak. You are in my prayers, and meditations. I Love You Always!

  • Just Rob : Condolences on September 12, 2007
    When the load is great
know that my back is your back
know that I'm as near as wind
    that moans the lost blues
    to the children of Xanadu

Weep not for those that leave
pain behind to dance again forever
but weep with love and farewell

When moments stack like dark days
imagine that coal of time to me
that I may mine diamonds for you

    to shine just like that
    one brand new star

    I'm vibing for you
