I don't write very much poetry anymore. I mainly scrapbook, but I do enjoy writing poems. I am 23 and in college at UALR. I am studying psychology, sociology, and criminal justice.
I love the Goo Goo Dolls, Rob Thomas, The Killers, Diamond Rio, Gavin DeGraw, Howie Day, Green Day, Dave Matthews Band, Sugarland, SHEDaisy, Montgomery Gentry, Linkin Park, Black Eyed Peas, Usher, Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, Josh Groban, Joss Stone, Dido, U2, Alanis,Straylight Run, Maroon 5, Story of the Year, etc.
I love every tv show with the words "Law and Order" in the title. I also love any show dealing with foresnic science and true crime.
I also love to scrapbook. It goes right along with my love of writing, being with people I love and care about, and photography. Through scrapbooking, I get to combine all three things.

I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some
poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning,
middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking
the moment and making the best of it, without knowing
what's going to happen next... -unknown-

sweetcatastroph on December 15, 2005Hey, i just wanted to comment on an old contest you had "people who have lost someone" or somthing like that-i know its been over a year since it was closed and this is kind of random but i just wanted to say im so sorry for you loss, when i saw this contest i almost cried (seriously) and couldnt bring myself to read any of the entries because i lost two very close people to me(my boyfriend and his brother) and i just wanted to say i think its a great contest idea...we should have a group for it...actully im going to see if anyone dose and if no one dose im going to make my own... again im so sorry about your lose...maybe the pain you feel/felt will be someone relived by knowing there are others out there hurting the same way...
